BANDIPORA : On the 3rd day of the ongoing Sewa Parv campaign, District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) under Mission Vatsalya Bandipora organized a series of cultural, recreational, and sensitization activities across all Child Care Institutions (CCIs) of the district.
Children from CCIs of Bandipora actively participated in cultural and recreational events, showcasing their talents through music, dance, and other creative performances. The activities offered the children a platform to express themselves while enjoying a day of learning, fun, and togetherness in a supportive environment.
Alongside these events, sensitization programmes were conducted in the offices of the DCPU, Child Welfare Committee (CWC), and Juvenile Justice Board (JJB). These sessions highlighted the importance of child rights, protection mechanisms, and collective responsibility in ensuring the welfare of children.
Protection Officer and CWC Member emphasized that such initiatives under Sewa Parv not only celebrate the spirit of service and empathy but also ensure that children in care institutions are provided with opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive.
