KUPWARA : In an endeavour to provide a convenient platform to the educated unemployed youth/Job seekers and to facilitate their interaction with the Private Companies and recruiters for Training, Skilling and Placement, District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Kupwara today organised a day long Placement Cum Job Fair at Government Degree College Kupwara.
The Placement Cum Job Fair was inaugurated by Assistant Director Employment Kupwara in presence of the Principal Government Degree College Kupwara and delegates from Dr. Sulaiman Al- Habib Hospital, Saudi Arabia.
M/S Al-Yafur Tour & Trevels, a Placement Cum Recruiting Agency registered with Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India participated in the programme to hire Nursing/GNM students/passouts for Dr. Sulaiman Al- Habib Hospital, Saudi Arabia.
The event saw an overwhelming response from the Job seekers/ unemployed youth from district Kupwara.
The Principal of Degree College Kupwara welcomed the delegates and participants to the programme. The representatives of the participating private sector establishment also spoke on the occasion and acquainted the participants regarding the job opportunity offered by the Dr Sulaiman Al-Habib Group KSA.
15 Unemployed youth/Jobseekers were provided on spot offer letter, 35 Jobseekers/participants were shortlisted for next round, 101 fresh registrations were made on the state employment portal. The Programme was moderated by Ishfaq Ahmad Wani, Employment Officer, DE&CC Kupwara. The Job seekers expressed their satisfaction and thanked organisers of the event for providing them a suitable platform to interact with the Job providers/recruiters.
