Distt Admin B’pora conducts training/ review session on e-Office to promote paperless Governance

BANDIPORA : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri and in a significant step towards digital governance, district administration Bandipora today conducted a comprehensive training programme on the e-Office platform for all district and sectoral Officers at the Mini Secretariat Bandipora.
The training-cum-review session was chaired by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl. In his address, ADC underscored the administration’s commitment to digital transformation and urged all departments to ensure familiarity and compliance with the new system.
The training-cum-review session aimed to ensure smooth functioning of e-Office operations in the district and to enhance digital governance by making office functioning more efficient, transparent, and paperless.
During the session, ADC reviewed preparedness regarding e-Office implementation and emphasized the importance of digital transition in routine official work. He directed officers to attend to e-Office operations regularly and ensure their staff is properly trained in the system.
On the occasion, ADC further highlighted that smooth operation of e-Office is essential to ensure timely delivery of services, transparency, and efficient public administration. He also emphasized the need for regular follow-up training sessions and assured the establishment of a dedicated helpdesk to provide ongoing technical support.
Technical sessions were conducted by experts from NIC Bandipora, who provided detailed guidance on document flow management, digital file handling, and system operations. They offered real-time technical support to participants during hands-on training sessions.
The training session concluded with a resolve to implement e-Office operations effectively across all departments of the district.
Among others, the training session was attended by sectoral officers from various departments, along with their designated staff, while officers from Sub-division Gurez joined virtually.
