Scores of Jammu kashmir youth protested against the Jammu and Kashmir administration’s move to involve Aptech Ltd, which has been blacklisted in several other states, for the conduct of examination for government posts in the region. there were fresh agitations from couple of days against Aptech and Finally JKSSRB put a halt on exams which were scheduled from today. The Mumbai-based recruitment agency was found involved in various alleged recruitment scams in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Assam. At a time when many states blacklisted Aptech for conducting exams , Jammu kashmir Adminstration assured aspirants that exams will be held and monitored under CCTV surveillance .
It is high time for Adminstration to listen to the aspirants and find alternatives to conduct exams. However , JKSSRB assured aspirants and requested them to focus on study.
JKSSRB must be strengthened for conducting exams without involvement of third party. While civil society blame that giving contract for conducting exams to a company accused of being involved in venal practices sans reason. Amid ballooning youth unemployment, the move will put the future of thousands of job as pirants on the line. We hope the LG Adminstration takes appropriate steps to address the issue on priority .
