Editorial | Army’s Selfless Service 

If we analyse the selfless contribution of the Army, one gets astonished as it amounts to almost tantamount to that of the government even though it is not the responsibility of this most respected institution of the nation. Day in and day out, while on one hand, the Army has been making efforts to create employment and entrepreneurship to ensure more job opportunities to skilled youth, it has been, on the other hand, always on the forefront in extending helping hand to people in times of disasters and natural calamities. Besides protecting the country’s borders, the concern towards the people’s sufferings is all on humanitarian grounds. Given such concern, it is incumbent upon us, as citizens, to acknowledge the contribution of the Army both as the defenders and saviours of the nation. We as responsible citizens of the nation must lend our all possible support to them to make things easy and convenient for this brave force.
