The recent shelling along the border in Jammu and Kashmir has once again brought fear and pain to many innocent people. Villages near the Line of Control were shaken by loud blasts. Houses were damaged. Families had to run for safety. Some lost their loved ones. Children cried as schools shut down. This is not how anyone should live.
These people are not soldiers. They are farmers, shopkeepers, students, and parents. They are trying to live a peaceful life, just like anyone else. But every few weeks, they hear the sounds of guns and bombs. They sleep in fear, not knowing if they will wake up to a quiet morning or a loud blast.
This is not fair. No one should have to live in such fear. People in Jammu and Kashmir who are affected by shelling deserve peace, safety, and respect. They deserve to live in proper homes, send their children to school without worry, and walk freely without fear of an explosion.
Governments on both sides must act with care and responsibility. Dialogue must be stronger than weapons. Talking and understanding each other is always better than firing bullets. Peace should not be just a hope. It should be a plan, a promise, and a goal. Both India and Pakistan have a duty to protect the lives of the people living near the borders.
In the meantime, we must also help those who are suffering right now. Relief camps should be set up quickly. Medical care should be provided. Damaged homes should be rebuilt. Children should be supported to continue their education. Families should not be left alone to deal with this pain. They need help from the government, from aid groups, and from all of us.
The people of Jammu and Kashmir have shown great strength. They have survived many hard times. But strength alone is not enough. They need support, justice, and peace. They deserve a better life, one where they can dream and build a future, not fear the next blast.
This is not just a border issue. It is a human issue. Behind every destroyed house is a broken heart. Behind every injured child is a frightened mother. Let us not turn away. Let us stand with them.
They have suffered enough. Now is the time to give them what every human deserves peace, dignity, and hope.
