The progressing J&K mission has been opening new horizons for the Union Territory and its denizens. The government has set out on a bold mission to usher in a new age of intelligent, effective, responsive, transparent, citizen-friendly, and corruption-free governance throughout Jammu and Kashmir. In pursuit to provide the citizens with timely service and a reliable feedback system, the government has made almost all the essential services available to the people through online mode. This approach creates a transparent system by making it simple for individuals to learn about the development projects being undertaken throughout J&K through the Jan Bhagidari web platform. Feedback from thousands of individuals might be acquired in a minute, thanks to the continuous digital revolution, which could effectively demonstrate the impact of government services. A paradigm shift in the governance structure has been brought about by a number of significant IT initiatives recently undertaken by the UT Government. The main focus is on G2C (Government to Citizen) Online Services. The services are accessible through the e-UNNAT Unified Service Delivery Portal. These have been integrated with MeriPehchaan, the RAS feedback system, the ePayment gateway, the SMS gateway, DigiLocker, Aadhar, eKYC, and UMANG. The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is steadfastly devoted to engaging with the general public and providing them with G2C services in a way that is transparent, simple to use, and easy to access. The government is committed to giving citizens and users a rich experience while sparing them from having to physically attend offices, interact with public authorities in crowded offices and endure time-consuming procedures. The goal is to prevent the person from visiting too many online portals and having to memorise a large number of website addresses and login information. The denizens had long felt a need for quick access to all those services. Besides this, many other services and portals are also being thrown open to make things easier and improve the overall standard of governance. Hope the trend continues in the remaining sectors to make things more easy for people and bring J&K at par with other states and UTs of the country.
