Every winter as the weather inclement puts barrier on national-highway due to snowfall , Air travel is the only way to get in and out of kashmir . As national highway closes this leads to surge in demand for airline tickets which results in an astonishing increase in airfares. the air tickets go high without any regulation. The demand for air charge goes high upto roof. there has been no regulatory system to check the elements /air ticket agents who sell tickets at an exorbitant rate to the people, as this winter people beleive the LG administration will act tough against those elements. Regulation of airfare is a long pending demand . Govt must check on the service providers – airline companies . From last many year experiences, people believe that air ticketing agents book tickets in advance and then sell to customers at their will. There must be a check on travel agents and other service providers related . It is must to regulate the tariffs to allow common people and tourists hazzle free journey. It is also important to check this unwanted practice for tourism boost in kashmir during winters .
