Kashmir valley is set to break all previous records as over ten lakh tourists have visited this beautiful valley till June. Arrival of tourists make room for locals to earn their livelihood. Hotels in the famous tourist destinations including Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam are completely sold out. Tourists even love to visit offbeat destinations across Kashmir with the result, locals get benefitted by way of earning their livelihood. The high temperatures in the rest of the country happens to be the reason for unexpected arrival of tourists this year in Kashmir. Other hill stations in the country, such as Shimla, Darjeeling, and Nainital, cannot match Kashmir’s tourist uptake capability.
