Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (SAW) celebration preparations reviewed at Pulwama

PULWAMA : The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Pulwama, Dr. Sheikh Abdul Aziz today convened a meeting of the stakeholders to discuss the arrangements for the auspicious occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) 2023 at Circuit House Pulwama.

The ADDC directed all the concerned departments to take advance measures for uninterrupted water and electricity supply, Medicare Facilities, sanitation, parking facilities, and other logistics for the smooth celebration of the auspicious occasion in all parts of the district.

Directions were passed to deploy adequate duty Magistrates and police personnel on the holy day for the security of the public.The traffic authorities were directed to prepare well thought-out traffic management and parking plans in order to ensure hassle-free to-and-fro movement of vehicles and the procession on the scheduled day.

Special focus was laid on sanitation measures wherein ADDC directed the Municipal Bodies in case of towns and RDD in respect of rural areas to ensure cleanliness and special sanitation drives are carried out in and around the Mosques and Shrines where prayers are to be held.
