The training focused on key aspects of child rights and safety, covering the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act, 2015, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and alternative care mechanisms for children in need of protection.

Organisers said the programme aimed to strengthen the knowledge and capacity of CPG members to respond effectively to issues concerning child safety and welfare. Experts present at the session emphasised the importance of community-based interventions in preventing abuse and ensuring children grow in a secure environment.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion where participants shared challenges and possible solutions to improve child protection measures at the grassroots level.
