Full Dress Rehearsal for Independence Day Celebrations Held at Parade Ground, DPL Kupwara

Kupwara : A full dress rehearsal was conducted today at the Parade Ground, DPL Kupwara.The event featured an display of discipline and patriotism as various contingents participated in the march past which included

contingents from the District Police including ladies contigent, Armed Police, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, Voluntary Homeguards (VHGs), NCC, and students from different schools across the district.
The Parade was presided by Sh. Rouf Rehman, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, took the salute and hoisted the national flag. Accompanying him was Sh. Gh Mohd Bhat, JKPS, Additional Superintendent of Police Kupwara.The Parade was commanded by Amin Bhat-JKPS, DySP PC Kupwara.
A wreath-laying ceremony was also held at the Martyrs Memorial to pay homage to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
Following the march past, a vibrant cultural program was presented, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the district. The performances included traditional dances, music, and skits, adding color and joy to the event.
