KULGAM : As part of Good Governance Week 2025 and under the Sushasan Sapta initiative, the “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign continued across District Kulgam with the objective of taking governance to the doorsteps of the people.
Grievance redressal camps were organised at the block, tehsil and panchayat levels, where district and sectoral officers listened to public grievances and ensured their prompt redressal. The camps witnessed active public participation, with people raising issues related to various departments.
The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, also visited several areas of the district, interacted with the public, and personally listened to their demands and concerns. He directed the concerned officers to ensure timely and effective resolution of the grievances.
During the day, various certificates, including Domicile, OBC, RBA, Legal Heir, Income, Character and Blood Relation Certificates, were issued to eligible beneficiaries.
Additionally, awareness and registration camps were organised to educate citizens about various government schemes and facilitate on-the-spot registrations.
