Google Arts & Culture Delegation Meets Culture Secretary to Boost Digital Heritage Initiatives

New Delhi : A five-member delegation from Google Arts & Culture called on Vivek Aggarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, to discuss the expanding role of technology in the cultural sector.

The meeting focused on leveraging digital platforms, immersive technologies, and advanced archival tools to enhance access to cultural resources, strengthen heritage preservation, and broaden public engagement nationwide.

Emphasis was laid on using innovative digital solutions to make India’s rich cultural legacy more accessible to citizens and global audiences.

K. K. Mishra, Joint Secretary, along with other senior officers of the Ministry, was also present during the discussions.
