NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released a poster depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the cyborg character from ‘The Terminator’ film and said that the Prime Minister could not be defeated by the opposition alliance.
The poster included the film’s famous catchphrase, ‘I’ll be back’, implying that the Prime Minister would be back for another term in 2024.
This came a day before the Opposition bloc DIA’s meeting in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1.
Meanwhile, the INDIA bloc, an alliance of 26 opposition parties, is preparing for a crucial two-day conclave in Mumbai scheduled for August 31 and September 1.
The meeting is expected to be a significant step towards solidifying their strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Key announcements are expected, including the unveiling of a coordination committee and a logo for the alliance.
The meeting will also likely see the formation of panels tasked with planning joint agitations across the country, and strategising seat sharing for the upcoming elections.
This will be the third opposition alliance meeting since their first huddle in Patna in June.
