Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) organized an exhibition and trade fair at Yatra Base Camps Nunwan Pahalgam and Baltal, Sonmarg

Srinagar : The aim of this exhibition is to promote local industries, handicrafts, hand-woven textiles and various other products from the region. The exhibition offers a wide range of products including hand-woven textiles, handicrafts, traditional artworks, home decoration items, local agricultural products and other locally made products.

A total of 25 stalls each have been assigned at both the locations which have been alotted to exhibitors from different departments, such as the Department of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, Department of Handloom and Handicraft, J&K Rural Livelihood Mission, Handloom and Handicraft Corporation and sellers registered with JKTPO.

This exhibition at both locations offers a treasure trove of authentic Kashmiri creations, with countless talented Kashmiri artisans, makers and vendors showcasing their exquisite crafts and products. From intricately woven pashmina shawls to colorful handmade rugs, from finely carved walnut artifacts to intriguing saffron and traditional Kashmiri dried fruits.
