Kupwara : In a moment of immense pride, students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Kupwara showcased
exceptional talent at the District Level Kala Utsav held at Boys Higher Secondary School, Kupwara. The young Navodians brought laurels to the institution by securing top positions in multiple events, proving their mettle in art, culture, and music.
In a brilliant display of creativity and expression, Sabnam and Sehrun Nissa of Class 10 clinched the 1st prize in Storytelling, captivating the audience with their narration. The drama team comprising Toiba, Afnan, Masrat, and Tabia bagged the 1st position in Drama, impressing the judges with their impactful performance.
Adding to the celebrations, Zainish, Malala, Tabinda, and Sadaf secured the 1st position in Orchestra, while Fatima
Tariq showcased her musical brilliance in the Solo Instrumental (Melodic category) and earned the 1st prize. Not to be left behind, the melodious voices of Huda , Naseer, Ruqiya Farooq, Najma, and Bisma Hassan won the 1st position in Group Singing, mesmerising the gathering with their harmony.
The outstanding success of JNV Kupwara at the festival not only highlights the diverse talents nurtured in the school but also reflects the commitment of teachers in guiding and honing artistic skills. The Principal of JNV Kupwara extended heartfelt congratulations to all winners and participants for bringing glory to the Vidyalaya and expressed faith that
these budding artists will continue to shine at higher levels.
The Kala Utsav, a prestigious platform organized annually, aims to celebrate and promote cultural heritage among school children. This resounding victory has once again reaffirmed JNV Kupwara’s position as a centre of academic as
well as cultural excellence in the district.
