Kupwara : Kamraj Forest Division Kupwara in Collaboration with J&K Youth Welfare Forum, Ray of Hope. distributed Potter machines among Needy and deserving potters of Lolab.

The Function was organised by Forest Department Range Sogam and was attended by DFO Kamraj Division Kupwara Mr Zahid Moghal DDC Sogam Mr Nasir Nazir Lone and Chairman JKYWF, Ray of Hope Mr Aijaz Bhat along with other team members of JKYWF, Civil Society Lolab , Employees of Forest Department, Potters and others. This is one of the first initiatives taken by the department for upliftment of the poor and to encourage the tradition of Kashmiri Potters under the Livelihood of Green India Mission. Mr Zahid Moghal , DDC Sogam and Chairman JKYWF assured all possible help in future to these potters for their decent life and best earning.

Mr Aijaz Bhat Chairman along with team members thanked DFO Kupwara and DDC Sogam for attending and encouraging these stakeholders of the society to do best for themselves and for their family.

Achievement from the Forest Department was also discussed and appreciated in the function. Mr Nasir Ah Lone & Chairman JKYWF appreciated forest employees from top to bottom for their wonderful services in these years.

They said that Lakhs of trees have been protected and Lakhs were planted by these Nature and green heros under the supervision of Mr Zahid Mogal.
