Kupwara : The Jammu and Kashmir police have sent approximately sixty five students from Kupwara and Handwara on a Bharat Darshan tour to New Delhi.
Spearheaded by Senior Superintendent of Police Kupwara, Shobhit Saxena, and SSP Handwara Dawood Ayoub, the flag-off ceremony was attended by various officers and dignitaries.
The primary objective of this tour, as highlighted by the officials, is to provide students from border areas with the opportunity to explore significant places as part of a civic action program. The tour aims to offer these students a profound understanding of the country’s rich heritage and ongoing developmental strides.
Additionally, it seeks to foster a deep connection with the tapestry of our nation.
Officials stressed that future endeavors will include organizing similar tours, sending students from border districts to various states and union territories.
This strategic initiative not only broadens the horizons of students but also contributes to their holistic development by exposing them to diverse cultural, historical, and developmental facets of the nation.
This laudable effort by the Jammu and Kashmir police signifies a commitment to educational enrichment and cultural exchange for the youth in border areas, paving the way for a more informed and connected generation.
