NC’s Sajad Kichloo Wins Second Rajya Sabha Seat After Choudhary Ramzan

Srinagar : National Conference (NC) leader Sajad Kichloo has won the second Rajya Sabha seat from Jammu and Kashmir, following the earlier victory of Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, officials announced on Friday.

Voting, which concluded earlier with 85 MLAs casting their ballots, saw the NC maintain its strong advantage in the Assembly, ensuring a smooth path for Kichloo’s election.

Highly placed sources told that the party’s numerical strength guarantees it is on track to win three of the four seats, while the BJP is expected to secure one. Counting for the remaining seats is underway. (KDC)
