Opinion | Holy Quran: The Ocean of Knowledge! 

The Glorious Al- Quran is a transcending divine guidance for the people of cause. We can’t find the true guidance or ultimately the main goal to which we dream and aspire without having exerted any effort on it. The Glorious Al- Quran is literally complaining to us daily that if one of my aayat may be found lying on the ground you pick it up, scream and wipe ,kiss and lick and put it on a pinnacle place as a blessing. But if it is written in the same aayat that those who take usury wages a war against Allah and his Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the knowledge that departs you from the existence and oneness of Allah is heedlessness and ignorance so, you don’t obey my order . It complaints us that those who believe me like that what has been done to you? If we don’t ponder the cry of this Glorious Al- Quran then we are anguished and leave an unhealing wound to ourselves.

The revolutionary change that the Glorious Al- Quran creates commences with entry of the Quranic light in the hearts. This light dispels the darkness in the hearts arising from sins, negligence and following desires. Thus by understanding and practicing the Quran a man introduced to a new absolute life. Allah says in Surah Al- Anaam “that person who was devoid of faith, then we revived him to guidance and we created for him the light of faith and knowledge through him rest people followed the same way is same with the people whose situation is that lying in the darkness of ignorance and misguidance and can’t get out of it.”
The Glorious Al – Quran is the true guidance for living not for corpses .Prophet Mohammad PBUH said: “Allah elevates some people and nation with this Glorious Quran and humiliates others”.As far as I know, no one else has given this hadith as much importance as Allama Iqbal has given it. He elucidates it in this sha’r “they were respected and honored in their times as Muslims and you are disgraced by being a forsake of the Quran. They came out with the Quran in one hand and a sword in the other hand and covered the world, and you have become humiliated and disgraced by leaving the same Quran!
We have five rights of Holy Quran: we should believe and acknowledge it as it is right to believe, we should read it as it is right to read, we should understand it as it is right to understand, execute it as it is right to execute, and the ultimate right is to spread in the world as it is right to layout.
The Glorious Al- Quran bears witness in surah Al-Hashir “if we had sent this Quran on the mountains, you would have seen that it would have been crushed and torn out of fear of Allah” this aayat depicts the greatness of Holy Quran. Those who have felt the effects of this kind of Holy Quran in their bodies can understand this fact, but its taste and feeling can’t be described merely by words. In fact this Holy Quran is so precious and high that hearts bow down before it, stand up crying, body trembles, its true promises and its righteous rebuke are heard by everyone. As far as effectiveness of the Glorious Quran is concerned, several ayats of the Quran guide us in this regard, but two ayats of Surah Younis are of special importance in this sense. “O people! There has come to you an admonition from Allah, and a cure for hearts , and guidance for the believers and a great mercy. Oh prophet! Tell them that this Quran was revealed by the grace of Allah and his mercy, so people should rejoice over it”
For real knowledge of the Holy Quran pure guidance and access to the inner soul, it is necessary to purify the inner being of a person. If a person tries to understand the Quran without analyzing his inner self , he will only be able to gain access to the external demands and meaning of its texts and vocabulary that is what once Maulana Rum Said: That we have taken inspirations from the Quran put the bones in front of the dogs. Strenuous circumstances we are going through is due to the fact that we abandoned our relationship with the Glorious Al-Quran. In the manner in which people act on earth, in the same manner Allah subdues and reveals judgments. When a person becomes fugitive or turn away from the remembrance of Al- Mighty Allah he don’t take away his sustenance because Allah promised in Surah Hud “And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision he knows its place of dwelling and place of storage, all is in a clear register” instead he make their life rigid , restless and gloomy.
The Quran has changed the life of many people, I will quote here the name of Fuzail Bin Ayaaz who prior entering into Islam , was in a forbidden relationship with a girl and one day he goes to meet her in middle way he has to ascend the wall , as soon he ascend it suddenly he heard the recitation of this aayat of surah Al Hadid “Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah” he falls down from this wall and joins the ranks of Islam .He became a very pious Islamic scholar.
In the current busy world, it is incumbent upon us to give a panoramic view of the numerous aspects with reference to Glorious Al- Quran instead of giving weightage to the studies of the principles of their sects than the studies in the Quran. They ignored the call of the Glorious Al- Quran , they forsook it. The present scenario of the Muslim world is the fitting example of the Quranic ayaat which says the complaint of the Prophet PBUH will be presented to Allah on the day of resurrection. “o,my Allah! Truly my Ummah took this Quran as something that ought to be] discarded”.
Truth is that, truth has not been paid!
