Pedestrian Dies After Allegedly Hit By Bus In Devar Kupwara

Kupwara : A 60-year-old man died after allegedly hit by a passenger bus in Lolab area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district this evening.

Reports reaching said that a bus bearing registration number JK05 2766 hit a man identified as Abdul Khaliq Chopan son of Mohammad Subhan Chopan, resulting in critical injuries to the person.

The person was immediately evacuated to SDH Sogam, where the doctors however declared him as brought dead on arrival.

Confirming the casualty, a police official told GNS that cognizance has been taken for due investigations. (GNS)
