Public Darbar Held at Drugmulla for On-Spot Grievance Redressal

Kupwara: In a bid to bring governance to the doorsteps of the people and ensure timely redressal of public issues, a Public Darbar was held at Drugmulla under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Kupwara, as per the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara.

The camp witnessed active participation from officers of various line departments, including Tehsildar Drugmulla Syed Basharat Rasool, BDO Drugmulla, ZEO Drugmulla, besides PRI members and a large number of local residents.

During the interaction, the public put forth a range of developmental demands and grievances related to essential services. The officers listened to the issues patiently, and several matters were addressed and resolved on the spot.

Speaking on the occasion, the ACR assured the people that the administration is committed to effective service delivery and responsive governance. He added that all genuine issues brought into notice will be resolved in a time-bound manner through proper departmental coordination.

Residents expressed appreciation for the district administration’s outreach initiative, emphasizing that such public darbars strengthen trust and communication between people and officials.
