He underscored that projects related to road connectivity, drinking water supply, education infrastructure, public utilities and sports facilities carry immense importance for the socio-economic advancement of the people living in the remote and border belts of Mendhar subdivision. Any delays, he said, would directly impact public welfare.
Rana directed the officers to promptly identify and address bottlenecks, streamline tendering and administrative processes and maintain regular field supervision so that works progress efficiently on the ground. He also called for periodic joint reviews between the departments to tackle interlinked issues, especially those concerning land clearance, electricity shifting, water pipelines and road alignments.

He reiterated the government’s commitment towards maintaining the highest levels of transparency and quality in public works.
Rana reaffirmed that the developmental roadmap rolled out for Mendhar is part of a broader vision of the government led by Omar Abdullah, aimed at transforming the underserved and geographically challenging regions into vibrant and self-sustaining zones of growth. He added that the projects inaugurated and launched earlier represent only the first phase and further interventions would follow in a systematic manner to ensure that each village receives equitable attention in terms of infrastructure, services and opportunities.
Appreciating the dedication of field officers, the Minister asked them to remain accessible to the public and respond promptly to local needs and grievances.
