Speaking on the occasion, Wajahat Farooq Bhat described the initiative as a humane and dignified step towards healing the wounds of families who have suffered irreparable loss due to terrorism. He emphasized that providing employment to the NoK is not merely an administrative measure, but a moral responsibility of the state to restore hope, dignity, and economic security to affected families.

Bhat lauded the efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir Administration under the leadership of LG Manoj Sinha for institutionalizing support mechanisms for victims of terrorism and ensuring their meaningful rehabilitation. He stressed that such initiatives reinforce public trust in governance and send a strong message that the state stands firmly with victims against the forces of violence.

The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to justice, compassion, and inclusive development, stating that the welfare of victims of terrorism remains a top priority of the government.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of appointment letters to the eligible NoK, marking an important step towards their social and economic empowerment and reaffirming the collective resolve to build a peaceful and resilient Jammu and Kashmir.
