Kupwara : In recognition of his outstanding contribution to social welfare and community development, Saadat Nasir Wani Sogami, Chairman of Team Red NGO, has been honoured with the Award for Social Reforms and Empowerment by the Jammu and Kashmir Government on the occasion of Republic Day 2026.
The award acknowledges Sogami’s impactful work in the field of social welfare, where Team Red NGO has been actively involved in various initiatives aimed at empowering youth, supporting underprivileged sections of society, and promoting social awareness across the region. His leadership and dedication have played a key role in driving positive change at the grassroots level.
Speaking on the occasion, Saadat Nasir Wani Sogami expressed gratitude to the J&K Government for the recognition and dedicated the honour to his team and volunteers, whose collective efforts have strengthened the NGO’s mission of service and reform.
The recognition has been widely welcomed by civil society members and locals, who lauded the contribution of Team Red NGO towards building a more inclusive and socially responsible community.
