Srinagar Police Takes Action Against Wild Bung ( Canabis ) Cultivation under Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan

Srinagar : Continuing its firm commitment towards eradicating the drug menace under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Srinagar Police carried out a focused drive against wild bung ( cannabis ) cultivation near Jhelum area of Srinagar.

During the operation, wild bung cultivated on more than three canals of land was identified and subsequently destroyed on the spot in accordance with legal procedures.

Srinagar Police reiterates its zero-tolerance policy against drug-related activities and urges the general public to come forward with information regarding cultivation, trafficking, or abuse of narcotics. Community support remains vital in building a drug-free society.
