Team Red’s Zonal Secretary North Kashmir – Miss Isra Wani Leads the Drive, while Zubair Azad (District Cordinator Kupwara), Wariq Wani (Media Incharge), Wasim Wani (Volunteer) & Iqbal Wani (Addl. Dist. Cordinator Kupwara), were present on the occasion.

The underway plantation drive, it is germane to mention, is part of the team’s mega plantation drive to be carried out across Kashmir division. The plantation drive which was flagged of by the Team Red chairman Saadat Nasir Wani earlier this week reached different parts of the valley. Keeping up with the drive, team red functionaries carried out the plantation drive at the boys higher secondary school, Sogam.

The local unit team functionaries said that the plantation drive got students to bond with nature. ” Creating awareness about nature is the corner stone of the Team Red vision. We received immense support from the concerned principal of the school, and the teaching and non teaching staff as well. It is elevating to see how our youth value greenery and joined us in taking up this cause. The programme saw an active participation of students of varied age groups. Locals also lent their support to the cause.

We thank the Principal of BHSS Sogam Mr. Abdul Zaffar and Junior Assistant Mr. Ehsaan Wani for their kind support; Isra Wani said.

The Team functionaries further added that the such programmes shall be done in every corner of the Kashmir division in the days to come.
