Tehsil Legal service committee Hosts Anti Drug Awareness Rally Under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan in Karnah Tangdar

Kupwara : Under the aegis of the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, the Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Tangdhar (Karnah), in collaboration with the Tehsil Administration Karnah, Zonal Education Office Karnah, R&B Division Karnah, Police Department, Revenue Department and Government as well as private educational institutions, organized an awareness rally today to mark the campaign against drug abuse.
The rally was flagged off by the Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee Karnah, Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Mir, from the main gate of the Munsiff Court Complex, Tangdhar which concluded at Main Market Tangdhar near Helipad.
Among those who participated in the rally were Staff of Munsiff Court Tangdhar, Tehsildar Karnah, Mr. Mohd Amin Bhat; President Bar Association, Shri Mehboob Allahi; members of the Bar Association; Prosecuting Officer, Mr. John Mohd, along with prosecuting staff; Mr. Javeed Iqbal, Executive Engineer, R&B Division Karnah; ZEO Tanghdar, Mr. Shah Mohd; officials of the Education Department, Officials of the Information Department Karnah, SHO Police Station Karnah; Incharge ICPP Tadd and ICPP Teetwal; principals and staff of various Government and private schools; ( Dream Valley Educational Institute Tangdhar, New Light Public School Tangdhar, Govt Middle School Lotha, Govt UPS Sulamian) and staff members of the Tehsil Legal Services Committee Karnah.
The rally aimed at sensitizing the public, particularly the youth, about the harmful effects of substance abuse and reinforcing the collective commitment of all stakeholders towards building a drug-free and healthy society.
The participants raised slogans and carried placards promoting awareness against drug abuse, emphasizing the importance of community participation in eradicating the menace of narcotics from society.
