Tehsildar Handwara conducts market checking

KUPWARA : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, (DC), Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan, Tehsildar Handwara along with Revenue team conducted market checking in Handwara on Thursday.
On the occasion, Tehsildar Handwara, Zeeshan khan visited various markets to inspect the rates of essential commodities. The Tehsildar stated that the aim of organizing the market checking is to check essential commodities and curb exorbitant rates and Hoarding.
Throughout the drive, erring shopkeepers were fined on the spot and directed to keep fresh vegetables available in the market.
