Three drug peddlers arrested in Pulwama; charas, contraband substances seized

Pulwama : Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Pulwama Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered psychotropic substances from their possession.

The accused have been identified as Syed Adil S/o Syed Showkat R/o Gundipora Pulwama, Aqib Rashid Yatoo S/o Abdul Rashid yatoo R/o Drusoo Pulwama and Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh S/o Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh R/o Gangoo Pulwama and from their possession following contraband substances have been recovered respectively: Bhang Patri 19.20 Kgs & Charas Powder 167.55 grams, Herion 6.14 grams, Charas Powder 192 gms and Charas Sticks 110.5 gms.

To this effect Case FIR No’s 18/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act, 19/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act and 21/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act have been registered in Police Station Pulwama and all the accused have been arrested with further investigation going on. — (KIMS)
