Towards a Greener Tomorrow: Plantation Drive organised at HQ 23 JKAP IR

Lethpora Pulwama: Plantation Drive was organised today at the Headquarters 23 JKAP IR under the close supervision of I/C Commandant Sh.Gh Hassan (JKPS) SP. The drive was organized in compliance to the directions received from Police Headquarters J&K and the Additional Director General of Police Armed (ADGP) J&K. The drive aimed at strengthening environmental conservation efforts, enhancing green cover, and promoting ecological sustainability. Saplings of indigenous species were planted by officials of the battalion with great enthusiasm.
This initiative highlights the battalion’s strong commitment towards environmental protection, climate resilience, and creating a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment .The plantation drive will continue at the Battalion Headquarters with more saplings to be planted in the near future.
The event concluded on a positive note with renewed resolve to undertake similar green initiatives in the future.
