VC- DDC Kupwara Inaugurates distribution and fitment camp for children with special needs.

KUPWARA: Inclusive Education Wing of SAMAGRA Shiksha in Collaboration with ALIMCO (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India) organized a distribution Camp for aids and Appliances among the Children with special Needs for Khumryal zone and Sogam zone at Govt. BHSS Khumryal Saturday.
Camp was inaugurated by Vice Chairman District Development Council Kupwara Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir in presence of DDC Kalaroose Chowdhury Mustafa Rahi.
While interacting with these specially-abled children, the Vice Chairman said that administration is committed towards welfare and upliftment of specially-abled persons.
During the camp, 59 CWSN( Children with Special Needs) were provided relevant aids and appliances as per their need already assessed.
Aids and appliances distributed include Tricycle, C.P Chairs ,Wheel Chairs, Smart cane ,Hearing Aid , Elbow crunches
Dy CEO Kupwara, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Principal BHSS Khumeryal, Nazir Ahmad Khan, ZEO Khumryal Farooq Ahmad Khatana, ZEO Sogam Mohd. Yousaf and District Cordinator Inclusive Education Javid Ahmad Wani were present on the ocasion.
