KUPWARA : Vice Chairman, District Development Council (DDC), Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today visited different areas of Wavoora DDC constituency of Kupwara district to take stock of various ongoing developmental projects.
During the visit, the Vice Chairman inspected ongoing construction of Kandhar-Kuligam link road and macadamization of Rang-Warnow road. He asked the concerned engineers to better utilize the working season and speed up the pace so that people in general are benefitted from these developmental projects.
He also visited Warnow area and took stock of sites for construction of Ayush Health Centres in Mushkjal and Offan villages. He directed the engineers of R&B to follow up and make DPR of the health centres on priority basis so that these are established timely. He also urged the Archeology department for preservation of the ancestral house of Alama Anwar Shah Kashmiri (RA) at Shahabad Warnow.
Later the VC inspected the ongoing execution of works on different schools of Kuligam area under RMSA scheme.
BDC Chairperson, Rafiq Kataria; Engineers from R&B, District Ayush Officer and concerned officials were present during the visit.
