Wage Dispute Amicably Resolved in Kupwara through Labour Department Mediation

Kupwara : A wage claim dispute filed by labourer Mr. Mohd Ismail Khan against M/s Aakash Construction Pvt. Ltd. was successfully resolved today through the intervention of the office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kupwara.

The matter, pertaining to pending wages, was settled amicably with both parties reaching a mutual agreement. As per the terms of the settlement, an amount of ₹17,000 was agreed upon and accepted by the claimant.

Officials at the Labour Department appreciated the cooperation shown by both sides and reiterated their commitment to ensuring timely redressal of labour-related grievances in the district. The resolution highlights the department’s ongoing efforts to protect the rights of workers and promote industrial harmony.
