At the outset, a detailed discussion was held regarding comments submitted by various departments for the issuance of NOCs of pending CLU cases in the district.
As many as 9 cases were put up for discussion; after thorough deliberation on various aspects of the policy, 3 cases were approved by the committee and rest of the cases were reverted to the concerned departments for want of necessary clarification under rules.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to submit quality comments/concrete NOCs within stipulated time as per the provisions of PSGA Act to ensure timely disposal of CLU.
The Deputy Commissioner on the occasion emphasized that since CLU cases involve comments from various departments, there is an increased need for inter departmental coordination. She directed the officers to stick to the deadlines and conduct the joint site inspections of the cases.
