DC Baramulla launches Poster for Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2027

BARAMULLA : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, S.F Hamid, today launched the official poster for the District-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2027, being organised by MY Bharat Baramulla on November 3, 2026, at Government Degree College (GDC), Baramulla.
The district-level competition will be held on the theme “One Nation, One Election,” providing a platform for young participants to express their views, engage in constructive debate and develop a deeper understanding of democratic processes.
The competition will be conducted at District, State and National level. Selected participants will have the opportunity to advance to the national level, with the final stage offering them an opportunity to reach the Parliament of India in New Delhi.
During the poster launch, the Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of youth participation in democratic processes and encouraged young people to actively engage in discussions on issues of national importance.
The event was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, District Information Officer, District Youth Officer MYBharat and other officials.
MY Bharat Baramulla has invited eligible youth to participate in the district-level event and contribute their perspectives on the theme through informed discussion and debate.
