District Kupwara Pencak Silat Association Elects New Executive Board

The newly elected executive board members of DKPSA are as follows: 1. President: Shri Syed Ab Shakoor of Deedikote

2. Vice-president: Ms. Ruqia Manzoor of Halmatpora

3. Secretary General: Shri Saajid Mumtaz Wani of Gulgam 4. Joint Secretary: Shri Zakir Hussain Wani of Batergam 5. Treasurer: Shri Mohammad Ibrahim Bhat of Lolab 6. Executive Members:

   – Ms. Pakeeza Sakhi of Anderhama

   – Shri Sozan Nazir of Gushi

   – Shri Aaman Iqbal Bhat of Lolab

   – Shri Maroof Ahmad Khan of Halmatpora.

The election process was conducted in a transparent and democratic manner, ensuring fairness and impartiality. The newly elected board members are dedicated to furthering the mission and objectives of DKPSA and promoting the art of Pencak Silat in the district of Kupwara. The newly elected executive board is committed to advancing the interests of Pencak Silat practitioners and enthusiasts in the district.

Syed Ab Shakoor, the newly elected President of DKPSA, expressed his gratitude to the members for their trust and support. He stated, “I am honoured to lead DKPSA and am dedicated to working with the new executive board to continue the growth and development of Pencak Silat in our district. Together, we will strive to create more opportunities for our practitioners and ensure the legacy of this martial art thrives.”
