Kupwara : FCS & CA Department Kupwara Tuesday celebrated “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” at FCS&CA Head Quarter of Sogam Sub Division.
The fest highlights the landmark achievements of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana made so far.
A day long deliberations were held in Sogam Sub division where PRI’S,AAY/PHH Ration card holders and the employees and Fair Price shop dealers througly participated in the event.
The circles officers of Sogam-A,Sogam-B,Kalaroose and Machil also participated in the event.
On the Eve,Secretary to BDC Sogam Akhter Hussain Tantry graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.Among the other’s who were present at the moment were Sarpanches from different localities including Sarpanch Warnow Reyaz Ahmed Banday,Khazir Mohd Lone Tangcheck,Deputy Sarpanch Muqam Irshad Ahmed,Deputy Sarpanch Tekipora Sahil Ahmed and other Panches were also present on the occasion.
Tehsil Supply officer Sogam-A,Ab Hameed Bhat while highlighting the role of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana during the pandemic and said “around 36000 AAY/PHH beneficiaries were benefitted by this scheme”,.
Tehsil Supply Officer Sogam-B, Mohd Shafi Mir shared the importance of this scheme.
Meanwhile,President CAPD Association Kupwara Gulzar Sogami highlighted the entitlements of AAY/PHH schemes.
Among the other speakers who spoke on the occasion were Aijaz Ahmed Wani HQA Machil who,on the eve shared the highlights of SRO 389 for formation of village vigilance committees.
Syed Shahid provided a detailed report on the PMGKAY Scheme,grievance redressal mechanism of the department, and role of department in pandemic.
The programme witnesses a huge gathering of different circles.
Bashir Ahmed Dar of circle Sogam-A and Shahid Ahmed Shah HQA coordinated the entire event.
Farooq Ahmed Mir,Abdul Hameed Shah,Raja Waseem,Peerzada Tahir,and Parvaiz Ahmed Khan prepared the entire ground for the event.
