The UT of Jammu and Kashmir is the only part of the country which has been blessed by Allah Almighty with innumerable blessings and one such invaluable blessing is multi-talented and educated youth. Many talented youth and educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir have earned name and fame in various fields across the world. Young educated youth have immense potential and talent and are a valuable asset of our society.However, social problems and evils have increased rapidly in Jammu and Kashmir during the last two decades. The state of Jammu and Kashmir is facing the most pressing social problems and evils which included drug abuse,The problem of drug abuse is the most dangerous social problem and evil because it has consumed thousands of educated youth and ruined thousands of families across the state.With reference to the data of large-scale sale and use of drugs in Jammu and Kashmir and the negative effects on the youth, it can be said that the use of drugs in Jammu and Kashmir is very harmful to the youth, especially the students and the unemployed youth in the valley. Doing more damage.Where the health of the young generation is badly damaged by the use of drugs, the use of drugs leads to the life of addiction and crime among the youth. Now this fact is also coming out that the young children of the age of nine to twelve years are now smoking tobacco. have started using while thirteen and fourteen year old children are turning to other drugs.

Obviously, these children initially start using these drugs as an experimental thing, which in most cases turns into a dangerous habit.

One may not realize in the initial stage when drug use can turn into addiction but by the time it turns into addiction it is too late because the young generation has become a target of young drug dealers.unscrupulous drug dealers use every means to promote this business in order to earn maximum wealth in the shortest possible time.

Some drug dealers package their drugs as something that is useful for comforting and refreshing.

In this way, these unscrupulous and evil-doers, who have caused great harm to humanity by destroying the lives of the young generation, do not care about the consequences of their actions, nor do they have any fear of the hereafter.

From the daily incidents and accidents, these things are also coming out that the young people who resort to drugs, are more likely to commit suicide due to the harmful effects of drugs.Misinformation about drug use also causes their deaths.

It has been seen in many cases that the user of the drug has overdosed, resulting in death.

The problem of large-scale purchase and distribution of drugs in the Kashmir valley is becoming very serious since long and its net has been spread to every corner of the Kashmir valley. As a result, the situation is becoming more serious.

Drug addiction is a curse for any person because it not only spoils the life but also destroys the religion and the world of a person.

Young people are innocent and need proper guidance, moral education and healthy environment in their homes, schools and workplace.

Parents, teachers, religious leaders and elders need to always treat the youth with compassion, love and support.

So that they can express their problems and feelings easily, they just need a good listening guide who can hold their hand and show them the right path.

Adolescents who are secure and know that they have some trusted people in their lives, with whom they can express their feelings and problems freely, then there is no room for any wrong way to interfere in their minds and lives. Is.

Otherwise, the way our society is showing non-seriousness in this serious matter, it can be concluded that the future of a large part of today’s young generation may be in serious danger. And most of the young generation will compromise with drugs. will become a lover.The problem of drug addiction is very important and serious, which cannot be ignored.

The administration of Jammu and Kashmir has to take seriously all the dangers associated with the sale and use of drugs and pay close attention to involving communities, media and religious leaders, NGOs, civil society in highlighting the dangers.
