In Kashmir, the weather has taken a U-turn, and we are heading towards winter. Winters are very hard in Kashmir, but we are used to living in such hard circumstances, and we enjoy winters as well. Kashmir Valley is famous for several special foods, which every tourist and every Kashmiri enjoys occasionally and on a daily basis. During the winter, a shortage of fresh fruits and vegetables often takes place. The shortage of essential home commodities is due to harsh and inclement weather. The main road connections are getting blocked due to heavy snow and other reasons. Thousands of people in the valley are residing in remote areas where the snowfall reaches up to 2–6 feet’s normally during the December to March months. But almighty Allah has bestowed this mesmerising valley with unlimited blessings, so we are enjoying here all the seasons, and we pray to Allah to keep our Kashmir safe from all the evil eyes.
