Every one of us is endowed with the gift of life to live as human beings and we have the power to enjoy a richer and a meaningful life, the power is within, lying dormant, we do not have to wriggle and struggle through life if we know how to live this gift of life. All we need to do is to become aware of what we are, recognise the mental wealth hidden within us and muster the willingness to blossom forth as joyful human beings. In the magnificent architecture of life in this planet human life is like the rising sun. We live in a world that sets demands without a frontier, the urge to go after the best of best overshadows the sweetness of fruit that we have already achieved. Ever increasing demand to meet the unlimited desires and aspirations place us on a rate race, given a chance we would run to the safest shores of peace and fulfilment, but life is not escaping in solving the issues of life. The hectic dreams become too short to give us breathing space, to relax, to enjoy life. Believe that everything happens for a reason that you may not understand always. Life does not flow the way we wish but we need to adjust the way life takes us, though no one drags you back from trying something innovative to alter the situation. We don’t always get what we desire but we can like what we get. Life is so short energize your nerves, brighten up your face with a smile, ponder upon the intricacies of enigma called life, gaze at the magic that the nature unveils in your everyday life. As long as a person is capable of self renewal his life is worthwhile. Replace tears of loss with a rainbow of smile. Carl Roger’s famous psychologist compares average human beings to a person who has fallen into a deep, dry well. He describes the feeling of desperation that the trapped person experiences and the agony of frustration that he cannot climb out of the well. The only alternative is to die and be discovered one day as a set of blanched bones at the bottom of the well. There is a responding knock from the outer side of the well. There is an immediate explosion of joy and an enormous sense of relief in the poor, exhausted prisoner of the well. In our lives too, when we feel the same futility and loneliness and go through anxious moments of desolation, rejection and dejection, we often stutter and fumble and give in easily without even really putting up a optimistic struggle. One reality of life is people have a sincere desire to succeed. You want to win, I want to win. No one sets out to deliberately themselves – although at times it certainly appears as if some people do. Path to succeed is never a polished one. We all strive to become successful people on our lives and are ready to take up any means to achieve that feat but the path leading to successful and dignified life can never be a well trodden one. It is the road less travelled that we need to take. The adventures and struggles we undergo today will certainly brighten and sweeten our lives tomorrow. The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhibited island. He prayed feverishly to God to rescue him, and everyday he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually manages to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements and to store his few possessions. But then one day after scavenging for food he arrived home to find his little hut in flames with the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened, everything was lost. He was stung with grief and anger. God, how could you do this to me he cried. Early the next day however he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. How did you know I was here? Asked the weary man to his rescuers. We saw your smoke signal, they replied. Never forget blessings do come in disguise! The road to success is lined with many tempting parking spaces, dig a little deeper ,for you will never know when and where you will hit a treasure stretch a little more, you might reach the unattainable. Dream big that is the beginning to realising big goals. Things worth doing seldom come easy. There will be times when setbacks come in dozens and all that you would want to do will be to call it quits. Those times tell you that you are pushing yourself and you are not afraid to learn by trying. Persistence is the key let your instincts, your intellect and your heart guide you. Believe in the incredible power of the human mind, Success hits the one who stays longer, but unfortunately today we have fallen prey to stress, it is rapidly widening whirlpool in which more and more of us swim for life. We seem to never be satisfied whatever life has served us with. We are always in need of something without which we think we will not be happy. We all are victims of the common enemy like stress, tension, worry, disappointment, unhappiness. Anxiety and fear strip away the courage and make great performances impossible. Doubt makes even the best decisions look difficult and cause procrastination. Anger rips your focus away from your goals. Frustration can only serve to make you quit. Guilt makes it impossible to enjoy any success you achieve. Jealousy and envy create dishonesty, hatred and corruption. A pebble does not become a flower, for it is not ready to undergo any changes. A stone does not become a rose, for it remains wherever it is never accepting a change, but a seed gives birth to a plant and it becomes a huge tree.
