Opinion | Pakistan : Frustrated by J&K progress, the biggest sponsor of terrorism, A failed and terrorist state.

As a Kashmiri I firmly believe that , Time for peace talks with Pakistan is over. Pakistan has erred repeatedly, Our soldiers are our Pride. It is Time to teach Pakistan a lesson .

For the past three decades, Pakistan has been fighting a proxy war with my country India by sending terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir. Rather than building Pakistan its rulers have been daydreaming about annexing Kashmir. They tried every bit taking Kashmir by fighting conventional wars, but the Pakistan ISI and its Army couldn’t match the skills and expertise of the Indian Army and was defeated. As India rises Pakistan is falling in the darkness and is jealous of India’s success.

The sacrifices of our brave soldiers Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhaunchak and
Jammu and Kashmir Police DSP Humayun Butt should not go In vain and along with selectively
eliminating the terrorists, Pakistan should be taught a fresh lesson, because our brave officers were martyred in the ambush by Pakistani terrorists in South kashmir.

This all started In 1990, when Pakistan launched a proxy war in Jammu and Kashmir by sending
terrorists and arms and ammunition into the Himalayan region. Soon after the armed
insurgency broke out in J&K, terrorists carried out target killings of the members of Kashmiri
Pandit community, forcing them to leave everything behind and flee from the Valley. Pakistani invested in creating separatism in Jammu kashmir and started luring youth towards terrorism.They made training camps in Muzaffarabaad to start Jihad . and started organising protests and shutdowns to create uncertainty and chaos in Kashmir. They sold an illusion called ‘Azadi(Freedom)’. Terrorists sponsored by Pakistan resorted to bloodshed and large-scale violence to achieve the goal they were trained for. But they failed as India has world’s best army, our armed forces neutralised them and sent them packed .

The political and strategic harm to Pakistan due to recent changes are of more serious in nature. Over the years, we saw Hurriyat and it’s many factions (A separatist group ) fighting against nation (India) while living in kashmir and enjoying all perks . In the past, Pakistan has cultivated local constituency of separatists in form of Huriyyat, religious like Jamaat-e Islami and also some local political leaders in Jammu and Kashmir. These elements were regularly consulted by Pakistan ( even Pak embassy in India used to invite them on lunch or dinner ) while holding negotiation with the government of India on Kashmir issue. These elements never questioned Pakistan on their terror role in kashmir but had sympathetic attitude towards Pakistan’s policies and actions in Kashmir. Now with the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, the local politics of separatists will not have any say in the affairs of Kashmir. Gradually these elements will wither away and the process had already started post 370. Since the Jammu and Kashmir is a UT now, it is in direct administrative control of the Central government of India, which frustrates Pakistan’s designs to infiltrate and smuggle arms, drugs and terrorists. This frustration raised deeply post Article abrogation. Post 370 kashmir is developing fast and Naya Kashmir is into making, Pakistan is at loss as they have invested in terrorism from last 3 decades and miserably failed all time.The recent killing and every killing in kashmir is a cowardly act by Pakistan.Their only agenda in Kashmir is to weaken Indian rule and promote separatism in Kashmir to the extend so that it
breaks away from India The abrogation of Article 370 increases the power of the Central
government and hampers Pakistan’s designs. They have failed and they will Fail at every front. Kashmiris believe that it is time to retake back POK illegally occupied by Pakistan. Pakistan also fears that as India consolidates her position in the Jammu and Kashmir, it would focus on retaking rest of the areas of Kashmir (POJK) under illegal Pakistani occupation. Pakistan and China both want that India should remain entangled in the internal issues of Kashmir. The reality is that Pakistan’s rhetoric for plebiscite have no takers in the global community. A country that wanted to snatch Jammu and Kashmir from India has plunged into a deep economic crisis. The Pakistani rupee has fallen to an all-time low, medicine stocks are at the verge of getting exhausted, prices of wheat have skyrocketed and cash reservoirs stand depleted. Even petrol and diesel are about to dry up. They don’t have that power to fight India but yes only sending their nationals to kill Innocent Indians. People in POJK reeling under high prices of essential items have taken to the streets and there are calls for a civil disobedience movement. The protests are rising and have spread across POJK. They want to become part of India. Many reports quoted people in POK saying , POJK has been not only forcefully occupied but is being exploited every single day. The citizens of POJK have been deprived of not only the legal share of their own resources but also their rights. Pakistan is nothing more than a wolf preying on the innocent. It doesn’t consider the citizens of POJK as its own, maybe because it still considers them Indian. These protests are a clear indication that the people of the region are also not happy with the forceful occupation of Pak Army. Now the demand in India to retake POJK gets high, Netizens share their anger as ; While one part of the region – Kashmir flourishes with international events like G20 , the other under illegal occupation cries out for essentials like Aatta & Bijli. This is the bitter reality of life under Pakistani rule in #POJK. It’s high time for a change. As a Kashmiri, I believe that it is time for us to teach Pakistan a lesson the peace talks are over Now. Pakistan has erred repeatedly and our soldiers are our Pride.
