Education plays a pivotal role in empowering the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Quality education not only enhances their employability but also nurtures their critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. To empower the youth through education, it is essential to ensure access to quality schooling and higher education. This includes improving infrastructure, providing qualified teachers, and promoting innovative teaching methods. It also involves incorporating vocational training and entrepreneurship education into the curriculum, equipping the youth with practical skills to succeed in the ever-evolving job market.

Initiatives Taken by the Government to Empower the Youth

In addition to the employment schemes which are existent , the government has launched programs focused on skill development, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Like the “Start-Up J&K” initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship among the youth by providing them with mentorship, funding, and other support services. It seeks to create a vibrant start-up ecosystem in the region and encourage young entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into successful ventures.
